The novel corona virus has ravaged many countries of the world; bringing giants to their knees. The effect of this global health pandemic can be visibly seen in many industries of the world, such as sports and entertainments, as well as affected the mode of operations of various government MDAs.
The case in Nigeria is not totally unique but it is certainly one that interests analysts; with many still in doubt of the existence of the disease in the country. Eyebrows have been raised and arguments have been made, as well as statements by relevant agancies debunking such arguments.
However, with the existing doubts, Nigeria continues to record new cases of the virus across states of the country. In fact, new states have been enlisted among the affected areas in Nigeria. One of such states is Kogi.
Today, the infection of corona virus that have been confirmed stands at 12,486. With this figure, the death rate has also sporadically risen.
Out of the 21 states currently affected by the virus, 19 states have recorded deaths. The deaths recorded in these states goes as follows;

The government,through the NCDC, is simply doing enough to curb the further spread of this menace. However, it calls for concern when Lagos, the epicenter of this virus, complains of running short of isolation centres.
